CLEMENTI, Knight Commander of the Most Distinguished Order
of Saint Michael and Saint George, Governor and Commander-in-
Chief of the Colony of Hong Kong and its dependencies and
Vice-Admiral of the same, do by these presents appoint you
THOMAS HENRY KING provisionally, and subject to His Majesty's
pleasure, to be a Member of the Legislative Council during
your tenure of office as Acting Captain Superintendent of
Police.
GIVEN under my hand and the Public Seal of the
Colony at Goverment House, Victoria, Hong Kong, this 2nd
day of March, 1929.
